Oval Wood Bowl Black Ebonized 15″

The Oval Wood Bowl Black Ebonized is made by using a natural process to darken wood that still allows the beautiful wood grain to show through. The ebonizing process reacts with the tannins in the wood to create bowls that are dark brown to black and 100% food safe. Our ebonized bowls are most frequently made from oak wood which is a sought-after hardwood known for being strong, heavy, and straight-grained.

This bowl is sustainably sourced, upcycled, and handcrafted in New England.  Our black ebonized nesting bowls range in size from 8” to 21”, and are oval in shape with a natural live edge.
